Biography Camille Herren
Camille Herren is a Swiss born director and photographer. After moving to Amsterdam to join Wieden+Kennedy’s inaugural class of “The Kennedys” he went on to director his first international spot for Sony Playstation. His critically acclaimed film ”Hooded” for Amnesty International’s “Security with Human Rights” campaign picked up 2nd prize at the Young Director Awards in Cannes.
For Heineken’s multi-award winning project “The Legendary Posters” Cam teamed up with W+K to create a series of nine films. The expedition like project features stories such as making pop-corn on an Icelandic volcano, doing world record wheelies on frozen Lake Koshgonong or the conquering of Kilimanjaro.
Cam is an adventurous filmmaker who likes to explore real-life characters with a strong sensibility for visual storytelling. In his work he takes you on a journey that is both intimate and honest. He is currently based in Amsterdam.
